What is Plamere?
Plasmere is a precision plasma device used at MÜNE for non-surgical skin tightening and fibroblast stimulation — a treatment known as plasma fibroblast therapy.
Plasma fibroblast therapy works differently from RF or HIFU — rather than using heat waves delivered into tissue, it ionises atmospheric gas (air) between the device tip and the skin to create a small, precise arc of plasma energy at exact coordinates on the skin surface. This stimulates fibroblast activity and collagen remodelling with a high degree of spatial precision.
At MÜNE in Victoria Park, Perth, Plasmere is used for localised tightening around the eyes, mouth, neck and body areas where precision matters.
How does it work?
The Plasmere device creates an electrical arc of ionised gas (plasma) between its fine tip and the target skin surface. On contact, this plasma energy causes immediate micro-contraction of the skin tissue at that precise point, triggering the fibroblasts to initiate a localised repair and remodelling response.
Because the energy is delivered at discrete, controlled points rather than across a broad area, the surrounding tissue is largely undisturbed. The treatment results in small, temporary carbon micro-dots on the skin surface, which heal over 5-7 days as the new collagen remodelling continues beneath.
Results develop progressively over 4-8 weeks as the collagen matures and the tissue contracts.
What sets it apart
Unlike RF and HIFU which work broadly across treatment zones, plasma fibroblast therapy works point-by-point — making it particularly well-suited to small, precise areas such as around the eyes, lips and perioral lines where surface-level tightening is needed without affecting surrounding tissue.
Why we use this technology at MÜNE
Plasma technology offers a localised option for selected areas. At MÜNE, Plasmere is used only within a considered treatment plan rather than as a quick fix.
The visible recovery period and individual risk profile make consultation, realistic expectations and aftercare essential. Treatments at our Victoria Park clinic are delivered by a registered nurse and preceded by suitability assessment and patch testing where required.
